Knocking displays out of the park
Knocking a 150 year SACA cricket history display out of the park.
Martins Brand House is proud to have designed and delivered a refined heritage display for the South Australian Cricket Association Committee Room at Adelaide Oval, celebrating more than 150 years of cricketing excellence in South Australia, within a beautifully refurbished interior designed by Cox Architects.
Thoughtfully integrated within the historic setting, the display spans four curated cabinets exploring the origins of the South Australian Cricket Association, the evolution of men’s and women’s cricket, the transformation of Adelaide Oval, and the players, moments and milestones that shaped the game. Cox Architects designed the museum-grade display cabinets and precision lighting to sit respectfully within the fabric of the Committee Room.
Rare memorabilia, archival photography and layered interpretive storytelling are curated and authored by Martins Brand House, presented through bespoke detailing and careful sequencing.
Balancing reverence for tradition with contemporary design, the installation transforms the Committee Room into a place of reflection, pride and continuity. It honours the administrators, players and communities who built South Australian cricket while ensuring its stories are preserved for future generations.
As specialists in creating meaningful environments, Martins Brand House brings sporting heritage to life through considered storytelling and enduring design.
