F1 racing circuit designer Michael McDonough, the lead consultant and designer on the Adelaide, Melbourne and Singapore Formula 1 circuits, approached the team at Martins to help his client bring their dream to life and encourage investment to bring the project to fruition.
The smart, flexible circuit design incorporated various race types and lengths, and the Martins team created a 3D CGI film containing live-action, to showcase, not only the innovative track but the yet to build corporate, media and public facilities.
The success of the collaboration has since led to a corporate identity opportunity for Zhuhai International Circuit in China and the early development for an exciting and unparalleled new concept of a racing circuit literally hanging off the slopes of a mountain in Taiwan. Stay tuned for that one.
